Corfe Castle 13 February 2017

It was ideal walking weather for our February walk at Corfe Castle and a great turnout of 17 walkers. We took the metalled track across the common to Blashenwell Farm, and a surprising number of walkers had never been there. There's an old iron Mill Wheel there with a Mill Pond and paths lead from it to Kingston village or up to Swyre Head. Time didn't allow us to walk in either direction so we retraced our steps and had magnificent views of the castle on our way back to the village where most of us stopped at the tea rooms for coffee.
